A few blended layers here and there, especially around the face with side swept bangs (not too thick though). This will give your hair more demension and look healthier. With layers, you can go with some mousse or gel swept through it and you have different lengths to play with for letting a few strands hang down when you have it up. It also allows for beautiful curls.
