Any ideas for a simple hair style for a party ?

I have long, brown hair. I need some idea's or photos for a hairstyle and quickly. the party is tonight !

Preferably, I would like the hairstyle to be simple, and straight. Curls tend to drop after a while with my hair, because it is thick.

Do you know how to french braid? If you do a loose french braid with a few strands of baby hairs around your face whisping down, it'll look effortless and very pretty. Also if it gets really hot at the party your hair will be up out of your face.Any ideas for a simple hair style for a party ?

if its a large get together w/friends (teen party) would try low a side pony with a jewled headband :)



if its fancier, try a messy bun. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qKFQlIfHDI4/Sa/a> make a regular bun, to the side on the nape of your neck. scrunch it w/ your fingers, and pull a couple hairs loose closer to your face. curl the hairs with a small curling iron, to give a delicate effect.
If your going to a party wear it wavy, If your going to be drinking wear it up, if your going to be dancing, put it in a messy/crazy due, Try to reflect the overall mood of what you expect from the party.
