You can have whatever you want. Clay Guida has pretty long hair, gets in the way sometimes.... or you could have Jon Goulet's hair, he sells advertising space on his dome....which is a good investment, because he has a chin of glass...so all the slow motion replays of him getting laid out are great for exposure!

The sport is called Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Not all fights take place in cages, and there are dozens of companies besides the UFC.
There is no specific hairstyle required. However, for training and competition, short hair is better because long hair tends to get in your eyes, or gets caught in something.
Yeah man.. I have long hair.. if you don't have extreme patience and focus. I would have short hair, my hair get's stepped on all the time.. It took me a while before I could learn to deal with that.. needless to say.. after about 2 years of training I'm not tender headed any more lol .
Normally people just have short hair so it doesn't get in there eyes or so there head doesn't get warm.
